Taco Tuesday

Okay... this is not a post about us eating tacos, unfortunately. But all of your funny comments on our last post has inspired us to bug our mama to try this doggie taco recipe from Yuki and Rocket's mama, Melissa. She is super talented in cooking, photography, arts, and crafts! And above all is devoted to her pups! *ahem* are you listening, mama? *ahem* Click the photo below to check out her recipe!! We're drooling all over our beards thinking about it!

We think this is the recipe we will use for Jazzi's Taco Day celebration in October!

Happy Monday all! We had a pretty uneventful weekend as our pawrents were kinda busy. The one outing we got was to visit a new company Pawp works at.

Here we are trying to figure out how to get into the secure building.
Why can’t we follow you to the breakroom?

Is it time to go yet? It’s sunny outside and we want to get some sun!

Next we went to a taqueria where our pawrents enjoyed pastor tacos that were yummy according to mama, but we wouldn’t know, since all we did was wait for them on the sunny patio while they ate.

Finally, we stopped by our grandpawrents house to pick up… * gasp*… a HUGE bag of carrots from Auntie T!! She even labelled it as “Carrots for J & P” so GrandPaw wouldn’t eat it by accident! NOW our weekened was getting exciting!

We even played a game: which would Joules prefer, a carrot or an apple piece?

Joules went for the apple first, it slipped away, and then went for the carrot, which rolled away. Then she sat back up and looked up at Grandpaw, who was laughing and proudly saying “Joules knows she’s not supposed to be eating at the table!”

We hope you all had a great weekend!

Camping!

To start making it up to us for leaving us behind last weekend, our pawrents took us camping this weekend. On the way there, we fought over the cushion (a folded outdoor blanket from Target)!

We arrived in Napa. And no wine for our naughty pawrents who have spent enough time having fun without us. While our pawrents were put to work setting up the tent, we basked in the sunlight... ahhhhh.... and quickly got so dusty we almost blended in with the dirt.

At night it was so cold we had to sleep in our pawrents' sleeping bags with them. They weren't too happy about all the leaves and twigs we left in there. BOL!

So many good smells. And so many traces of good smells to bring home in our beards!

On our way home, neither of us had the energy to fight over the blanket-cushion! We were so tired of being hot we just hid away from the sunroof as best as possible. And took a nap or two on the now-dusty seat cover.

Ahhh! There are no smells like home!

Labor Day Monday Funday: The end of Summer!

So for the latter half of our pawrents' trip, Auntie T brought us over to stay at our grandpawrents place. When we weren't getting our backs and bellies scratched during quality time with grandpaw, Auntie T would take us to the dog parks and on walks along the bay everyday! We had a blast with her, we wish she could live with us all the time.

We get to go home once our pawrents get in late tonight!
